Job Overview
The Enterprise Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing end‑to‑end SAP solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients in Zambia and the broader Southern African region. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of SAP solutions, including S/4HANA, SAP Business Suite, and cloud extensions, ensuring they meet client business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales and pre‑sales teams to develop compelling solution proposals and proof‑of‑concept demonstrations.
- Conduct comprehensive requirement workshops with stakeholders to capture functional and non‑functional needs.
- Define integration strategies, data migration approaches, and security frameworks aligned with SAP best practices.
- Provide technical leadership during implementation phases, overseeing configuration, customization, and testing activities.
- Mentor junior architects and consultants, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
- Stay current with SAP product updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance solution offerings.
- Ensure all architectural artifacts are documented, reviewed, and approved according to SAP governance standards.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience (5+ years) with SAP enterprise solutions, preferably S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
- Proficiency in integration technologies such as SAP PI/PO, APIs, and middleware platforms.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (SAP BTP, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on delivering business value.
- Effective communication and presentation skills for interacting with C‑level executives and technical teams.
- Project management acumen and ability to work in fast‑paced, multi‑disciplinary environments.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate, SAP Certified Technology Associate, or TOGAF certification are highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum of five years of hands‑on experience designing and delivering SAP enterprise solutions across multiple industries, with a proven track record of successful large‑scale implementations.
Salary
The competitive salary range for this role is SSP 150,000 – SSP 250,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and benefits are also part of the total compensation package.
