Job Summary

BIA Group is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead product planning and execution for assigned OEMs. The role involves managing the full product lifecycle, driving business growth, and ensuring alignment with company strategy and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. OEM Management
Implement and follow BIA’s strategy with OEM partners
Manage strategic plans, pricing, specifications, and performance
Ensure compliance with OEM contracts including reporting and negotiations
Strengthen market position and increase market share
Develop product strategies, pricing mechanisms, and market programs
Support product launches and provide training to marketing teams
Conduct market research and competitor analysis

2. Sales & Business Development
Support achievement of sales targets and KPIs
Monitor equipment sales performance across divisions and markets
Promote new technologies and business opportunities
Ensure pricing consistency across regions
Develop bundled offers including service and parts contracts
Collaborate with finance teams to structure solutions

3. Marketing & Operational Excellence
Define and align marketing strategies with OEM plans
Conduct market intelligence and pricing benchmark analysis
Implement tools, policies, and processes aligned with company standards
Coordinate execution of strategic initiatives across regions

Requirements

Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field
Fluent in English (French is an advantage)
Strong knowledge of underground (UG) applications and products
Experience in surface drilling is a plus
Experience working in African markets is an added advantage

Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in underground equipment or related field
Strong understanding of product management and lifecycle processes
Willingness to travel frequently (minimum 50%)
