Job Overview
UrbanTech Solutions Zambia Limited is seeking a visionary Smart City Infrastructure Planner to lead the design and implementation of intelligent urban systems in Kabwe. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement smart infrastructure projects including IoT-enabled utilities and sustainable transportation systems
- Collaborate with municipal authorities and stakeholders to align urban development with national sustainability goals
- Utilize GIS and BIM software to model urban ecosystems and predict infrastructure impacts
- Develop cost-benefit analyses for smart city initiatives
- Monitor compliance with international urban planning standards
Required Skills
- Expertise in smart city technologies and urban data analytics
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and urban simulation software
- Strong project management and cross-sector collaboration skills
- Knowledge of Zambian urban development regulations
- Fluency in presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or Smart Infrastructure
- Master’s Degree preferred but not required
Experience

Salary
20,000 – 25,000 SSP monthly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
