Job Overview

The Supply Chain Optimization Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing end‑to‑end logistics, inventory management, and demand forecasting across the Livingstone bottling plant and its regional distribution hubs. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the analyst will leverage advanced analytics, process improvement methodologies, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive cost efficiencies, service level improvements, and sustainability outcomes. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, forecast demand, and recommend inventory optimization strategies.
  • Develop and maintain predictive models using statistical tools and software to improve accuracy of demand planning.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and distribution teams to align supply plans with market needs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fill rate, order cycle time, and cost per unit, providing regular performance reports.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of digital supply chain solutions, including ERP enhancements and IoT tracking systems.
  • Prepare business cases for investment in technology, equipment, or process changes, presenting findings to senior leadership.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and logistics planning.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP or Oracle.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience
