We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist to join our team in Mongu, Zambia.

Job Overview

The Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks in our supply chain operations. This will involve conducting regular risk assessments, developing and implementing risk management strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in risk management and mitigation. They will be able to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and patterns, and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks.

The Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks in our supply chain operations
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of supply chain operations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics, including risk exposure and mitigation
  • Required Skills
  • Strong background in supply chain management, with experience in risk management and mitigation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and patterns
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Education

    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

    5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on risk management and mitigation
