Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, program, and commission PLC logic for assembly lines, material handling systems, and quality inspection stations.
  • Design and configure SCADA/HMI interfaces to provide real‑time monitoring, alarm management, and data analytics.
  • Integrate robotic workcells, including motion control, vision systems, and safety interlocks.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis of automation failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers to optimize system architecture and workflow.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including wiring diagrams, program specifications, and change logs.
  • Ensure all automation solutions comply with IEC 61508, ISO 13849, and Bosch internal safety standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 projects.
  • Provide technical training and mentorship to junior engineers and production staff.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in PLC programming languages (Siemens STEP 7, Allen‑Bradley RSLogix, Schneider Unity Pro).
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA systems (WinCC, Ignition, Wonderware).
  • Experience with industrial robotics (ABB, KUKA, FANUC) and motion control.
  • Understanding of networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&ID drawings.

Education
