Job Overview

The Brewery Production Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the brewing line at Heineken Zambia’s new satellite facility in Chongwe. Reporting to the Production Manager, the supervisor ensures that all brewing processes meet strict quality, safety, and efficiency standards while aligning with Heineken’s global best practices. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all brewing activities, including mashing, lautering, boiling, fermentation, and packaging.
  • Monitor production schedules, adjust line speeds, and allocate resources to meet daily and weekly output targets.
  • Ensure compliance with Heineken’s quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate preventive maintenance with the Maintenance Team.
  • Maintain accurate production records, batch logs, and performance metrics for reporting to senior management.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of operators, fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain department to ensure timely availability of raw materials such as malt, hops, and yeast.
  • Participate in internal audits and external regulatory inspections, providing required documentation and corrective actions.
  • Promote a culture of sustainability by monitoring water usage, energy consumption, and waste management practices.

Salary
