Job Overview
This Smart Grid Technology Specialist role is part of Siemens Gamesa’s initiative to expand Zambia’s renewable energy capacity. Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage smart grid infrastructure for wind energy integration
- Conduct technical assessments of grid performance and energy distribution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve grid efficiency challenges
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for grid systems
- Monitor and report on grid performance metrics to stakeholders
Required Skills
- Expertise in smart grid technologies and renewable energy systems

Education

Experience
3-5 years of experience in energy systems design, preferably in renewable energy projects. Prior experience with smart grid implementation in Africa is preferred.
Salary
15,000 – 20,000 SSP per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
