Job Overview
The Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst will play a pivotal role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats targeting Cisco’s clients and internal assets in Zambia. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and disseminate cyber threat intelligence from open‑source, commercial, and internal feeds.
- Identify emerging threats, malware campaigns, and adversary tactics relevant to the Zambian market.
- Collaborate with incident response teams to provide contextual intelligence during security events.
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports, dashboards, and briefings for senior leadership.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigation strategies based on threat trends.
- Engage with industry peers, government agencies, and information sharing groups to enhance collective security.
- Continuously improve threat intelligence processes, tools, and methodologies.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical abilities with experience in threat hunting and intelligence analysis.
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Deep understanding of ATT&CK framework, malware analysis, and cyber‑crime ecosystems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report creation and stakeholder briefings.

Education
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline is required. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GCTI, or OSCP are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
