Job Overview
The Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) will lead the development and execution of First Capital Bank’s sustainability strategy, aligning ESG objectives with business goals to drive responsible growth. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive ESG strategy that supports the bank’s business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the design and rollout of green financing products, sustainable investment solutions, and responsible lending practices.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate ESG metrics into risk management, performance measurement, and reporting frameworks.
- Oversee sustainability reporting, ensuring compliance with international standards such as GRI, SASB, and the UN PRI.
- Engage with regulators, industry bodies, and external stakeholders to promote best practices in sustainable banking.

- Represent the bank at conferences, forums, and media engagements to enhance its ESG reputation.

Education
A Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CFA Institute ESG Investing Certificate, GRI Certified Training, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sustainability, ESG, or corporate responsibility, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the banking or financial services industry. Demonstrated success in launching green finance products and leading ESG reporting initiatives is essential.
Salary
The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from SSP 1,200,000 to SSP 1,800,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and long‑term incentive plans are also part of the compensation package.
