Key Responsibilities

• Develop and program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for manufacturing automation projects.
• Conduct system design reviews, risk assessments, and compliance checks in line with industry standards.
• Lead on‑site installation, commissioning, and validation of automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely support to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and process engineers to optimize system performance.
• Prepare detailed documentation, including functional specifications, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
• Stay updated on emerging automation technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance productivity.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens S7, Allen‑Bradley, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of SCADA platforms such as WinCC, Ignition or Wonderware.
• Experience with HMI development and industrial networking (PROFINET, Ethernet/IP).
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as Siemens Certified Programmer (S7) or equivalent are highly desirable and demonstrate a commitment to technical excellence.
