Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every vehicle component and final product meets Toyota’s rigorous quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute comprehensive quality inspection plans for incoming parts, in‑process components, and finished vehicles.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis on non‑conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in collaboration with production and engineering teams.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment, ensuring compliance with ISO/TS 16949 and Toyota’s internal quality standards.
• Lead internal audits and support external audits by regulatory bodies and customers.
• Analyze quality data using statistical tools to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and reduce defect rates.
• Provide training and mentorship to production staff on quality procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure incoming parts meet specifications.
• Prepare detailed quality reports and present findings to senior management.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards, including ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and data visualization tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities with a systematic approach to root‑cause analysis.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and supplier engagement.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline is required.
