Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Petroleum Reservoir Engineer to join our technical team in Mansa. This role is critical to our long-term asset management and production optimization strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for characterizing reservoir behavior, predicting future production profiles, and designing optimal recovery strategies to maximize the value of our energy assets. Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex reservoir simulation and history matching to predict future production performance.
- Develop and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies to optimize field life.
- Conduct uncertainty analysis and risk assessment for new drilling locations and development plans.
- Collaborate with geologists and drilling engineers to ensure optimal well placement and completion designs.
- Monitor real-time production data and recommend interventions to mitigate declining pressure or water cut.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management regarding asset value and development milestones.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation software such as Eclipse, Petrel, or CMG.
- In-depth knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid properties, and rock mechanics.
- Strong analytical and mathematical modeling capabilities.

Education
A minimum of a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related geophysical discipline is required. A PhD is highly preferred for this senior-level technical position.
