Job Overview:As a Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist at Cargill Zambia, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks in our supply chain operations. You will work closely with our procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure that our products are delivered safely and efficiently to our customers. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess potential risks in our supply chain operations
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of these risks
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure that our products are delivered safely and efficiently
- Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics
- Provide recommendations to management on supply chain improvements
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
Experience:5-7 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field
