Job Overview
The Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for:
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain risk management principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess potential risks across the supply chain, including supplier insolvency, natural disasters, and cyber attacks
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of identified risks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, logistics, and operations teams, to ensure effective risk management
- Monitor and report on supply chain risk metrics, including key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on supply chain risk management best practices
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of supply chain risk management principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in supply chain risk management, with a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices
