We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist to join our team in Kapiri Mposhi, Zambia.

Job Overview

The Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks in our supply chain. This includes conducting risk assessments, developing risk management strategies, and implementing controls to minimize risks.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices, as well as experience in risk management and mitigation.

The role will involve working closely with our procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure that our supply chain is operating efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct risk assessments of our suppliers and supply chain

Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks

Work with procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure effective supply chain management

Monitor and report on supply chain performance and risk levels

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed

Required Skills

Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices

Experience in risk management and mitigation

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

Experience

5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, risk management, or a related field

Salary

5000-8000 SSP per month
