Job Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst will support MTN Zambia’s procurement and logistics functions by turning data into actionable insights that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of network equipment and services. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the analyst will collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Vendor Management teams to monitor inventory, evaluate supplier performance, and optimize the end‑to‑end supply chain. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze supply chain data to identify trends and improvement areas.
  • Maintain dashboards for inventory levels, order fulfillment, and vendor KPIs.
  • Work with procurement to assess supplier contracts and negotiate terms.
  • Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and ensure on‑time receipt of critical assets.
  • Support ERP system enhancements and data integrity.
  • Prepare performance reports for senior management.
  • Assist in risk assessments and develop contingency plans.

Required Skills

  • Advanced Excel and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau) skills.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, procurement, and inventory concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or PMP are advantageous.

Experience

3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, procurement, or logistics, preferably within the telecommunications or technology sector.

Salary

The role offers a competitive salary range of ZMW 150,000 – ZMW 250,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Performance‑based bonuses may also be included.
