Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documentation to identify discrepancies, under‑reporting, or fraudulent activities.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommended adjustments, and potential penalties in accordance with ZRA guidelines.
  • Engage with taxpayers to explain audit outcomes, provide guidance on corrective measures, and facilitate voluntary disclosures.
  • Collaborate with the Legal and Enforcement Departments to initiate appropriate legal actions when necessary.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and update internal procedures to reflect new compliance requirements.
