Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Forestry and Conservation Manager to join our team in Kalabo, Zambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our digital forestry initiatives, developing and implementing conservation strategies, and collaborating with local stakeholders to promote sustainable land use practices. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the protection of Zambia’s natural resources.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital forestry initiatives to promote sustainable land use practices
- Lead conservation efforts in collaboration with local stakeholders and government agencies
- Conduct research and analysis to inform conservation strategies and policy development
- Collaborate with international partners to share best practices and promote global conservation efforts
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, or related field
- 5-7 years of experience in conservation, forestry, or related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing conservation strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Education
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field. A Master’s degree is an asset.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in conservation, forestry, or a related field. Proven track record of developing and implementing conservation strategies is essential.
Salary
The salary for this position is 50000 – 70000 SSP per annum, depending on experience.
