Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex construction and engineering projects in the Choma region. This role is critical for our expanding operations in Zambia, as we take on more significant roles in regional development. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, and environmental specialists.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement schedules to ensure financial viability.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety regulations.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline is mandatory. Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.

Experience

Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of seven years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure project management. Proven experience in managing large-scale public or private sector construction projects is essential. Experience working in the Southern African development context is a significant plus.
