Job Overview
The Agricultural Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in evaluating, structuring, and monitoring financing solutions for agricultural clients across the Copperbelt and neighboring provinces. This position bridges the gap between traditional banking services and the evolving needs of the agricultural sector, ensuring that credit products are aligned with sustainable farming practices and market realities. The analyst will collaborate closely with relationship managers, credit officers, and product development teams to design innovative financing packages that support farm expansion, equipment acquisition, and value‑chain development.
In addition to core analytical responsibilities, the role involves market research, risk assessment, and the preparation of detailed financial models that inform lending decisions. The successful candidate will contribute to Barclays’ broader strategy of expanding agricultural finance, thereby supporting Zambia’s food security goals and economic diversification.
