Job Overview
Esri is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geospatial Mapping Specialist to join our team in Solwezi, Zambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date geospatial maps and datasets, and for providing technical support and training to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geospatial science and technology, and will be proficient in the use of Esri’s ArcGIS software and other geospatial tools and technologies. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date geospatial maps and datasets
- Providing technical support and training to customers
- Developing and implementing geospatial solutions to meet customer needs
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration of geospatial data and technology
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in geospatial science and technology
Required Skills
- Strong background in geospatial science and technology
- Proficient in the use of Esri’s ArcGIS software and other geospatial tools and technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in geospatial mapping and analysis
