We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Mapping Specialist to join our team in Chililabombwe, Zambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date maps and spatial data for our clients.
Job Overview
The Geospatial Mapping Specialist will be responsible for:
Creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date maps and spatial data for our clients
Developing and implementing GIS solutions to meet client needs
Providing training and support to clients on the use of GIS software and techniques
Collaborating with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Developing and maintaining spatial databases and data models
- Creating and editing maps and spatial data
- Providing technical support and training to clients
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date maps and spatial data for our clients
- Developing and implementing GIS solutions to meet client needs
- Providing training and support to clients on the use of GIS software and techniques
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects
Required Skills
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong knowledge of GIS software and techniques
- Experience with spatial databases and data models
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems or a related field.
Experience
The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
Salary
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of 5,000 – 8,000 SSP per month.
