Job Overview
At Esri, we are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Mapping Specialist to join our team in Lusaka, Zambia. As a Geospatial Mapping Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date maps and spatial data for our customers. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in Geographic Information Systems and experience with GIS software.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems or a related field, and at least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining maps and spatial data, as well as providing technical support to our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date maps and spatial data for our customers
- Providing technical support to our customers on GIS software and spatial data
- Developing and implementing GIS solutions for our customers
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure the success of our projects
Required Skills
- Strong background in Geographic Information Systems and experience with GIS software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel occasionally for work-related purposes
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems or a related field
Experience
