Job Overview
The Strategic Mine Development Manager will lead the planning, design, and execution of major mine development projects at the Chililabombwe operation. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long‑term mine development strategies aligned with corporate growth targets.
- Lead feasibility studies, front‑end engineering, and detailed design for new underground and open‑pit expansions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including geologists, engineers, procurement, and finance to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Manage project budgets, cost control measures, and financial reporting to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Zambian mining regulations, environmental permits, and international best practices.
- Engage with local communities, government agencies, and joint‑venture partners to secure social license to operate.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Present project updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors.

Education
