Company Overview: WorldFish is an international, nonprofit research organization that works to reduce poverty and hunger by improving fisheries and aquaculture. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Aquaculture Project Manager to lead our aquaculture projects in Zambia.

Job Overview: The Sustainable Aquaculture Project Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of sustainable aquaculture projects in Zambia. This will involve working with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to design and implement projects that promote sustainable aquaculture practices and improve the livelihoods of small-scale fish farmers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of sustainable aquaculture projects in Zambia
  • Work with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to design and implement projects
  • Develop and manage project budgets and timelines
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate with WorldFish’s global team to share knowledge and best practices

Required Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Aquaculture or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in aquaculture project management
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable aquaculture practices and policies
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
