Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Urban Planner to join our team in Mongu, Zambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing urban planning projects, developing and implementing sustainable urban development strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage urban planning projects from conceptualization to implementation
  • Develop and implement sustainable urban development strategies that meet the needs of local communities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector companies, and community groups, to achieve project goals
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform urban planning decisions and policies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and private sector companies

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in urban planning and sustainable development
  • Proven track record of leading and managing urban planning projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
