The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments for various projects and programs in Zambia. This will involve identifying potential environmental risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental impact assessments for various projects and programs in Zambia
  • Identify potential environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure that environmental considerations are integrated into project design and implementation
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans for projects
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and reporting

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies in Zambia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Education

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field. A Ph.D. in Environmental Science or a related field will be an added advantage.

Experience

The successful candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management. Experience working in Zambia or other developing countries will be an added advantage.

Salary

The salary for this position is 50,000 – 80,000 SSP per annum.
