Job Overview
The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of Standard Chartered’s CSR initiatives in Zambia. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs, you will collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and external stakeholders to embed sustainable practices across the bank’s operations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive CSR strategy that aligns with Standard Chartered’s global sustainability agenda and local community needs.
- Lead the planning, budgeting, and delivery of community investment projects, including education, health, and financial inclusion initiatives.
- Monitor, measure, and report on the impact of CSR programs using key performance indicators and ESG reporting standards.
- Engage with government agencies, NGOs, and industry partners to foster collaborative partnerships and amplify social impact.
- Integrate CSR considerations into product development, risk management, and employee engagement programs.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on sustainability best practices and responsible banking principles.
- Prepare regular communications, newsletters, and press releases to highlight CSR achievements and promote brand reputation.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and internal policies related to corporate citizenship.

Education

Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in CSR, sustainability, or community development, preferably within the banking or financial services sector. Salary
The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from SSP 150,000 to SSP 250,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be offered.
