Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Forestry and Conservation Manager to join our team in Mpika, Zambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our digital forestry initiatives, developing and implementing conservation strategies, and collaborating with local stakeholders to promote sustainable land use practices. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the conservation of Zambia’s natural resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital forestry initiatives to promote sustainable land use practices
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and private sector partners
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform conservation strategies and policy recommendations
  • Develop and manage budgets, reports, and other documentation as required

Required Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, or related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in conservation, forestry, or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful conservation initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
