The Digital Twin Solutions Engineer will design, develop, and maintain digital twin models of manufacturing processes, equipment, and supply‑chain networks. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate real‑time data, optimise performance, and predict maintenance needs. Key Responsibilities
- Develop high‑fidelity digital twin models for assembly lines, robotic cells, and logistics workflows.
- Integrate sensor data, PLC signals, and ERP information into real‑time simulation environments.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to validate model accuracy and performance.
- Perform predictive analytics to forecast equipment wear, energy consumption, and production bottlenecks.
- Provide actionable insights to production managers, maintenance teams, and senior leadership.
- Document model architecture, data pipelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in digital twins, AR/VR, and edge computing.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in simulation platforms such as Siemens NX, ANSYS Twin Builder, or Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or Java for data processing and model integration.
- Experience with IoT protocols (OPC-UA, MQTT) and industrial data historians.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, robotics, and lean principles.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and analytical mindset.
- Effective communication skills for cross‑departmental collaboration.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required. Advanced certifications in digital twin technologies, Industry 4.0, or data analytics are highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum of five years of hands‑on experience developing digital twin solutions in a manufacturing or heavy‑industry environment. Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in equipment uptime, production throughput, or cost reduction is essential.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 25,000 to SSP 35,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the total rewards structure.
