Job Overview
The Drone Delivery Operations Manager will lead the design, implementation, and scaling of autonomous aerial delivery services within the Mufulira region. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive drone delivery strategy aligned with Maersk’s sustainability and efficiency goals.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies, such as the Zambia Civil Aviation Authority, to secure necessary permits and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Lead cross‑functional teams including engineering, IT, safety, and customer service to integrate drone operations with existing logistics workflows.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize route planning, payload management, and fleet utilization.
