Job Overview
The Logistics Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our vehicle fleet within the Mansa region. This role is critical to ensuring that our delivery operations run smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively. You will manage a diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards of safety and performance. This position requires a strategic thinker who can optimize routes, manage fuel consumption, and lead a team of drivers and technicians to achieve peak operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Optimize fleet utilization and scheduling to ensure maximum efficiency in delivery routes.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance.
- Monitor fuel consumption and implement cost-saving measures across the fleet.
- Manage and mentor a team of drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety protocols.
- Analyze logistics data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Ensure all vehicle documentation, including insurance and permits, is up to date.

Education

Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or fleet management, preferably within a large-scale courier or distribution company. Proven experience in managing large teams and complex vehicle fleets is essential for success in this role.
