WWF Zambia is seeking an experienced Environmental Monitoring Specialist to join our team in Mansa. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing environmental monitoring programs to assess the impact of human activities on the environment.
Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Monitoring Specialist to join our team in Mansa. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing environmental monitoring programs to assess the impact of human activities on the environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, with experience in designing and implementing environmental monitoring programs. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement environmental monitoring programs to assess the impact of human activities on the environment
- Collect and analyze data from environmental monitoring programs
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate the impact of human activities on the environment
- Collaborate with other WWF teams to develop and implement conservation programs
Required Skills
- Strong background in environmental science
- Experience in designing and implementing environmental monitoring programs
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in environmental monitoring and conservation
Salary
4000-6000 SSP per month
