Job Overview
The Supply Chain Analytics Manager will lead data‑driven initiatives that optimize end‑to‑end supply chain processes, from raw material procurement to finished product delivery. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the role will harness advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and business intelligence tools to improve forecasting accuracy, reduce inventory costs, and enhance service levels across the distribution network. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain predictive models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and transportation planning.
- Analyze large data sets from ERP, WMS, and external market sources to identify cost‑saving opportunities and process inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with procurement to assess supplier performance, lead times, and risk factors, providing actionable recommendations.
- Design and implement dashboards and reporting tools that deliver real‑time visibility into key supply chain metrics.
- Lead cross‑functional workshops to align analytics insights with business strategies and operational execution.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of implemented initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and ROI measurement.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and IoT, recommending pilot projects that could enhance supply chain resilience.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, including demand planning, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
- Effective communication skills to present complex findings to senior leadership and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Project management experience, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and experience integrating analytics solutions.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or PMP are highly desirable.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have 5‑7 years of progressive experience in supply chain analytics, preferably within the beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors. Demonstrated success in leading analytics projects that delivered measurable cost reductions or service improvements is essential.
