Job Overview

The Digital Learning Platform Manager will lead the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of UNZA’s flagship e‑learning platform. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product roadmap for the digital learning platform, aligning with institutional goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams—including instructional designers, software developers, and faculty—to design, launch, and optimize online courses and resources.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure platform reliability, security, and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Analyze user data and feedback to drive continuous improvement, increase student engagement, and enhance learning outcomes.
  • Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and performance metrics for the platform’s lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with marketing and admissions to promote digital learning offerings, supporting broader recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Ensure accessibility standards are met, providing inclusive learning experiences for students with diverse needs.

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and project management abilities with a track record of delivering complex digital products.
  • Deep understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS), e‑learning standards (SCORM, xAPI), and emerging educational technologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills, capable of interpreting data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management, able to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.

Education
