Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for infrastructure initiatives.
  • Collaborate with local governments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with Zambian regulations.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality control, and safety standards on-site.
  • Prepare project reports, risk assessments, and budget forecasts for senior management.
  • Facilitate community engagement programs to address project impacts and promote transparency.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in infrastructure project coordination or construction management.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
  • Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Knowledge of Zambian construction codes and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and local languages (Bemba, Nyanja preferred).

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (PMP, CEM) are advantageous.

Experience

  • 3–5 years in infrastructure project coordination or construction management roles.
  • Experience with public-private partnership (PPP) projects is a plus.

Salary

150,000 – 200,000 ZMW monthly, commensurate with experience.
